I went to visit my friends Reevea and Dawn in Sedalia, Missouri... we made our own video to Chris Cagle's "What Kind Of Gone". Check it out!

Kenny Chesney Cruise Photos

Wow... just got back from the Kenny Chesney Caribbean Cruise Getaway vacation! It was AWESOME! The most thrilling moment for me was... Kenny handed me his margarita from the stage and I took a drink and gave it back to him and he took a drink! Whew... darn it, no picture of that, but we finally have our Kenny Chesney Cruise photos posted. Hopefully we will post more photos from other Kenny Chesney Cruisers we met on the ship (as we receive them). There are links there on the left to other Kenny Chesney Cruise photos. It was so nice meeting all of you, drop us a line if you want to say "Hello" :). We also have photos of Big Kenny and Dierks Bentley's set from the show on the island.

THE KENNY CHESNEY CRUISE PHOTOS ARE FINALLY UP! We have over 200 photos from our Kenny Chesney Caribbean Cruise Getaway vacation... view our Kenny Chesney Cruise Photos! Click the logo in the top left (my name) to return to this page.

Coco Cay, Bahamas

Coco Cay was absolutely beautiful! Our ship stopped there for half a day. We spent a good portion of it looking for seashells in the crystal clear water, then relaxed in one of the many hammocks hanging from the palm trees! I can see why Kenny Chesney loves the islands!

Tony Stewart

I have this one photo... this was a total surprise... I also got to meet the NASCAR driver Tony Stewart! Wow, how cool! Tony Stewart is the 2005 NASCAR Champion! He was on the Sovereign of the Seas and we just happened to be in the casino at the same time, I think he was [trying to be] on vacation... the comments Chris Cagle made about Tony Stewart "driving the boat" (the night the boat was rocking so bad) suddenly made sense :) Visit Tony Stewart online at his VIP site Smoke VIP, or maybe drop by Tony Stewart's Official Site. The lady in the photo is not me by the way... IDENTIFY YOURSELF!! :)

Chris Cagle

There were a few acts on the ship we have photos from in addition to the Kenny Chesney show; Chris Cagle, Little Big Town, The Nashville Hitmakers. Chris Cagle absolutely rocked (no boat rocking pun intended)! If you caught either of his shows on the Sovereign of the Seas you know what I mean. Visit Chris Cagle's site. My husband was impressed that Cagle's guitarist, John Carroll, busted into "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" in the middle of one of their songs during the first night's set.

Scars heal... glory fades
And all we're left with are the memories made, oh yeah
Pain hurts, but only for a minute
Life is short so go on and live it
Cause the chicks dig it...

We got to meet John after the show as he was packing up his guitars, he and my husband chatted about guitar stuff [my husband played guitar for about 10 years in Seattle bands - his last band, Pillar, has a story] and he asked John how he did "Foggy Mountain Breakdown". John smiled at the question... he said he just threw that in there ad-lib and that he was using some hybrid picking technique using the guitar pick and his free fingers on his picking hand to pull it off. It made sense to my husband... I had never even heard of "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" before. My husband said it was a traditional banjo piece and would have been no easy trick on the guitar, especially using a single pick. We got John's autograph the second night, what a friendly, down-to-earth guy. What a good guitar player he is too!

Chris Cagle's band put on a rockin' show!

Dierks Bentley from the Stage

Dierks Bentley rocked the beach too! I had my (cheap-o disposable) camera sitting on the stage while I was whoopin' it up, and in the middle of his set... Dierks stooped down, grabbed my camera, turned around and snapped this photo from the stage! I had no idea if any of these photos would even turn out, but... how cool! Ha ha! What an awesome fun photo and awfully cool of Dierks to do that! Please pay a visit to Dierks Bentley's Site. What a fun trip this was... too bad it's over :(

Little Big Town

Little Big Town was a pleasure to watch and to meet! They had a totally polished set and they sounded great. In my opinion they were one of the most gracious, appreciative, and down-to-earth of all the "celebrity types" we met on the cruise. Somehow we kept running into them wherever we went. After their show, they must have taken about 200 photos with fans and signed autographs for... 45 minutes to an hour maybe? We were one of the last people in line, I had to sit down and wait for the line to go away... when they finally got to through the line and let us get a picture with them, they seemed as happy and sincere as when they had started. Thanks Little Big Town!

Little Big Town was so nice!

Oh Great...

Oh yeah.. (eyes rolling)... my husband wants me to remind you that he won the category "Best Booty Shaker" [see movie] in the Mr. Legs contest on the Sovereign of the Seas. Great... now I have to live with that until it wears off of him, if I could just get him to cut the grass or pick up after himself or something... :)

Speaking of Mr. Booty Shaker (my husband), that's him in the lei and the sunglasses in the Dierks Bentley photo above. He is a web developer, he built this site for me. You can visit his site at Jacksonville Web Design TenTonWeb.com.

More coming soon! :)
